The concentration of chlorophyll is an indicator for the amount of photosynthetic plankton, or phytoplankton , present in the ocean. Phytoplankton populations are influenced by climatic factors such as sea surface temperatures and winds.

Great White Sharks Año Nuevo Island tour

We have a NOAA / National Marine Sanctuary Permit to use a decoy to attract great white sharks at Año Nuevo island and South East Farallon Island, in the past this has been very successfull. We expect to find adult great white sharks ranging from 12 to 19 feet in length, but we may encounter larger sharks too.
